Thanksgiving in October??

I just got back from Indianapolis, well I got back like a week ago, but we went and celebrated an early Thanksgiving with Kelsey & Jack, Brad, Jill, Lauren, & Luke, and Mom and Dad. Rob had to stay here and work, bummer, but it was so fun! I love being with my family, it is so relaxing, so refreshing, just fun overall. I was thinking about this as I flew back, I hate flying by the way so that in itself was an accomplishment, anywho, as I get ready for this Holiday season, the real Thanksgiving, I am just overwhelmed with how blessed I am to have the family I have. Thank you mom and dad for creating such a safe, fun, Godly environment for us as we grew up. I love that we are so close, not in proximity for crying out loud (that needs to change), but as friends! May we all take time this thanksgiving to be thankful for whatever God is doing in our lives!

I set up a blog site, what fun. Kind of dorky, but I'm excited about it. Hopefully I will do a better job at connecting with the folks in my life! I'm not great at that. I'm married to Rob, living in Sioux Falls, and working at First Baptist Church as the Middle and High School Youth director. Life is good! I wish I had family closer, but what can you do? Kelsey just got married and looked gorgeous, little sis all grown up, tear. I'm so happy for her though. Well this concludes my first blog, tune in for more!!
